Jennifer Garner is a well known American actress. Her most prominent role to date has been her portrayal of agent Sydney Bristow in the successful television series Alias. Garner first got her start with acting when she changed her major to drama at Denison University. After graduating in 1994 she continued to study theater and eventually decided to move to New York City to pursue an acting career. She had several television roles throughout the 90s and eventually appeared in her first movie, Dude, Where's My Car? Then in 2001 she was approached to star in the new TV series Alias which brought her critical acclaim during its five seasons. Since working on Alias she has returned to her film career.
